If you use BuddyPress and want to update to WordPress 3.2, you may run into some jQuery issues. Those have been addressed in the newest version of BuddyPress. Version 1.2.9 of BuddyPress is a bug-fix release that affects the behavior of the javascript and ajax in the bp-default theme.
If you update to WordPress 3.2 and use the bp-default theme or a child of it, you’ll need to immediately update to BuddyPress 1.2.9 to keep your site functional.
In the announcement, John James Jacoby made sure to note that this does not use bbPress 2.0 just yet. That will have to wait for a future update.
Have you safely upgraded your installation of BuddyPress? Did you run into any problems with the update and the move to WordPress 3.2?

Just what do you get a laboratory for its birthday? Beakers? Some sort of widget-powered Frankenstein monster? That’s the question today, as Theme Lab’s Leland Fiegel decided to celebrate his fourth anniversary of the site’s launch with a blog post and by teasing a couple snapshots of the upcoming Theme Lab redesign.
In the fourth year announcement post, Fiegel admitted that he hasn’t been as active on the site as in years past due to his busy schoolwork. Despite that, this year has seen four free theme releases from him with plans for more this year.
Add to the (belated) birthday wishes for Theme Lab in the comments below. I’ll start: as a fellow WordPress blogger and developer, congrats on the milestone Leland! I’ll get your gift sent out, just as soon as I figure out how many mints I can stuff into this beaker without breaking it.

Today’s Daily Plugin is called Sidebar Login, and gives you a customizable WordPress login form in widget form. If you run any sort of membership site, or site where you have users regularly logging in, this one should interest you.
The video is embedded at the top of this post’s page, with more about the plugin below.
Sidebar Login
Sidebar Login is a great widget plugin because, although many of us could write the form into our sidebars on our own, having a handy widget like this does make things more flexible. It brings with it all the customization that you could want, as well, so you don’t sacrifice power for convenience with this one.
Video recorded with version 2.2.15 of Sidebar Login, running WordPress 3.2.

Mojo Themes’ J.R. Farr announced yesterday that their userbase has seen tremendous growth since their redesign back in April, effectively doubling the size of their community to 10,000 strong. For what it’s worth, Farr also said that they are poised to drop into the 5,000s within the Alexa ranks.
Their celebratory post also includes a bit of a giveaway, which you can participate in if you check out their blog for more info.
While user counts don’t mean everything, they can certainly signal momentum and relevance in the larger community. Are you one of the 10,000 strong Mojos—perhaps Mojoians—that have populated their community? If so, what has it been like for you so far?
